The Closing Of The Year
才十月底滿街的商店都還在做"萬聖節"的促銷
在回家的地鐵站 一位街頭表演藝人竟然已經開始在演奏聖誕歌曲了....
才發現 已經十月底了.................
很奇怪的是就是最近幾天 紐約的氣溫一直降 越來越冷 連家中的暖氣也開始發功...
聖誕節一直是老美一年中最重要的一個日子 消費者拼命買 店家也拼命賣
很多商家衝的就是這段時間的業積
行人厚重的衣服一件件上身 街上看到行人的穿著顏色也越來越深
我才發現今年的秋天好像特別短
一下就"入冬"了
當然接下來還有個在十一月底的"感恩節"才正式宣告今年的"假期購買季節"開始
在紐約的空氣中已經聞到了一絲絲耶誕的氣紛了....
這裡有首歌....是很多年前一部電影"TOY"的主題曲
這首歌一直給我一種安心及歡愉的心情........

三個英文字母....Three little letters....
收到一份來自美國運通的(AMERICAN EXPRESS)的廣告郵件....
"Three little letters gave us contless stories to tell."
"三個英文字母,讓我們有說不完的故事....."
這句話吸引了我的目光...
我想這是一個"對我來說"相當成功的廣告...
它吸引我 也讓我想去知道"這是甚麼玩意兒"....
世界上每一個城市的國際機場都有個由三個英文字母組成的代號
TPE-台北
JFK-紐約甘迺迪機場
CDG-巴黎戴高樂機場
LAX-洛衫磯
SEA-西雅圖
PEK-曼谷
TLV-特拉維夫
SYD-澳洲雪梨
...........
太多了....
每一個機場 代表一個城市
在每一個城市有許許多多的故事在發生
在每一個機場 有離別... 也有久別重逢...
一個一個的故事 不斷的在進行中
有讓人傷心的結局
也有開心的結束
也有的故事是會一直進行下去的......
跟WW剛認識時 她給了我一本水籃色的筆記本
前幾頁詳細的寫下她的一些經歷與想法...

紐約與台北的距離.....一個夢想的誕生
紐約與台北到底距離多遠?
一邊早上十點 另一邊晚上十點 這是時間上的差異
華航直飛的班機也要十七個小時 這是距離上的遠近
跟公司的老美說到回家一趟要十幾個小時在飛機上
他們都會露出不可思議的表情...............
有此一說:若從紐約這直直的打個地洞 穿過地心 那頭出來就是台北了
忽然有一首歌在心中出現..........

PARADISE NOW [天堂此時]...預告...
這部在第55届柏林電影節穫得藍天使最佳歐洲片獎的電影
得等到十月二十八日才會在紐約上映
有點等不及了.....
WARNER INDEPENDENT PICTURES-PARADISE NOW-
對於我這種懶人
雖然對於電影有種莫名奇妙的狂熱
因此所有有關的電影資訊不外乎是來自朋友介紹,自己在電視上看到預告片,或是在戲院看電影時 開演前那段有很多人認為是冗長且無趣的預告片 對我來說 我就會安排好下一次會為了那部片子會再進電影院.....
幾星期前看到這部PARADISE NOW(天堂此時)的預告後 便決定這將會是我要花11美元進電影院的片子....
此片揭露了中東衝突造成的悲劇性及深刻的後果.
主題曲"Orange Sky" by Alexi Murdoch也是另一個吸引我注意的因素.

紐約地鐵男女
一對男女在紐約地鐵的車站中手牽著手專注的在研究地圖 想找出從A點到B點的捷徑......
是的!幾天前紐約的地鐵的"恐怖份子攻擊警戒信號"(自2001年九月十一日後美國就有了這種警戒標示,告訴大眾要加強注意)昇高成橘色...這意謂著有著較明確的情資,這些恐怖份子可能會進行攻擊
九一一之後不光是紐約全美都一直充滿著這種草木皆兵的氣份,這也沒辦法 誰要這些老美沒事要去招惹人家,當然這不是三言兩語就可已說得清楚的 這也牽涉到幾百年來基督教與回教之間的紛爭 想想咱們中國人的佛教與道教就溫和多了.....
不論如何的警戒及警告 紐約客若沒有地鐵是無法生活的 我常在想這在地下的鐵道系統就如同紐約的血管 當一個人的血液無法流通 這人也必定陷入一種攤瘓
總之 日子還是要過 不是嗎?
在跟女友告知 這項訊息後...
她很用力的說:
[xxx你給我小心一點].
我像以往一樣的害怕和緊張的問怎麼了?
她還是很用力的說:
[xxx你最好給我小心一點!
不要那天我突然找不到你
才發現你被恐怖份子的炸彈給炸死了]
我問:
[如果真的是這樣,妳會怎樣,會很傷心嗎?]
她說:
[不會,我很肯定的告訴你但是我會......恨你!]
我們都停住了所有的對話
因為我們都懂對不對!

秋天的紐約
六點多到辦公室外抽根煙
才發現秋天已經來了一陣子了
是的！葉子開始黃了 街上開始有人在掃落葉了！
跟春天剛開始時的街景完全不同
那時所有的花草樹木拼了命的長．．．．．
當年在台灣時 一直為著要不要出來闖一闖 舉棋不定
直到一位長輩問我：你看過秋天樹葉會黃 樹葉會掉嗎？ 你看過冬天會下雪的樣子嗎？
結果一來就是十多年．．．．
秋天一直是最讓人感到舒服的季節 經過一整個夏天的悶 你才感覺到秋天的涼爽
